The Clinic objectives is to create awareness at the grass root level and equip individuals, especially the vulnerable sections of society to realize their rights and enabling access to Justice through seminars, camps and taking up their issues to DLSA and HLSA while helping them to avail free legal aid. Legal Aid is an essential element of a fair, humane and efficient civil and criminal justice system which is based on the rule of law. It is a foundation for the enjoyment of other rights, including the right to a fair trial, a precondition to exercising such rights and an important safeguard that ensures fundamental fairness and public trust in the criminal justice process. The Clinic seeks to impart practical knowledge of law to students. Since 2017, the members of the Clinic have actively participated/organized various awareness creating events and engaged effectively with the rural communities in the nearby villages. This is done by building a connection with the rural communities, by understanding their concerns, after which they are connected to the district authorities through the processes of law.

School of Law, Manav Rachna University was established in 2017 and its first Batch passed out in 2022. For any Law School, placements are very crucial aspect and in order to secure the same, School of Law plays a very guided, systematic and consistent role in grooming the students to prepare them to be fit for their role in the legal arena.

The guidance and grooming start right for the initial years where the students are to complete their 20 weeks of internships during the entire course which they can do in NGOs, Law Firms, Companies, PSUs, Judges and Advocates etc.

Regular sessions are taken of the students on Resume Building so that the accomplishments of the students can be aptly represented. Together with it, we also hold Mock Interviews over various areas of laws where we invite Senior faculty members and Experts from the legal field. This helps the students to get a first-hand experience of how the interviews are held and they can make necessary adaptions as per the suggestions given by the board members.

Various workshops and interaction with the lawyers and law firms are also conducted so that the students keep appraised of the contemporary requirements of the field.

We also prepare a detailed Placement Brochure focusing on the needs of the recruiters and the students.

All this finally helps in reaching to a point where the students are fit for the placement. Reaching out to the recruiters and bringing them on the same table with the students is done in a very well-planned manner by CRC at central Level as well as Institutional Level.

We, here at School of Law, are committed to assist all the students to be INDUSTRY READY and contribute to the society as GOOD CITIZENS.
