Development and testing of Ion Implantation induced modified charge transport layers in lead deficient perovskite solar cells for enhancing efficiency and stability & reducing the toxicity

Objective

This research project is aimed to fabricate and examine the new generation of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite based solar-cell devices with ion-implantation, new strategy for improving the efficiency and stability of existing perovskite solar cell devices.

Methodology

Fabrication of Solar cell layers in laboratory using spin coating and RF sputtering techniques. And after fabrication of layers, these will be tested using; XRD, SEM with EDS, AFM, XAS/XPS, and Photo-voltaic testing (by solar simulator). After Development of complete perovskite solar cell, their stability and PCE will be measured.

Expected Outcomes of the Research Project

This proposal targets air-stable and high efficient perovskite solar cell by developing new organic-inorganic hybridize solar-cell devices.
To the best of our knowledge, such material combinations will be used for the first time in the device structure.
This project will help us to advance and enhance new photovoltaic structure with high power conversion efficiency.
The proposed project will have a significant impact on CO₂ emissions, off-grid community development, and will aid in the transfer of ideas between researchers and society.

Training/Skilling to the man-powers (PhD and M.Sc students) in the area of solar cell research.
Quality Publication / patents and commercialization of devices from the results.
Enhancing the instrumentation facilities for many other students of other universities/institutes.

Objective

To design and develop an efficient Database Management System to aid medical insurance claims settlement through Blockchain and AI based technologies.
To develop a decentralized application for the stakeholders involved in the insurance claim settlement procedure.
To provide automated information to the insurance company to reduce turnaround time, manpower as well as cost.
