What is MRNAT?

The Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT) is an Entrance cum Scholarship Test, offering a pathway to admission in a diverse range of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs (excluding M.Tech, & M.Phil) at Manav Rachna Educational Institutions.

Eligibility and Exam Structure for MRNAT

Applicants seeking admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs are eligible to apply for MRNAT. The MRNAT is a 90-minute, objective-type online examination designed to assess candidates on:

  1. Knowledge of the curriculum of their qualifying examination (Class XII for UG applicants or Graduation for PG applicants) and
  2. Aptitude relevant to the program they are applying for
  3. Vision & Values Round- This test is designed to look beyond the academic achievements of the candidates and delve into their aspirations, ethical mindset, and alignment with the university's guiding principles.

Why should I take MRNAT?

Students participating in MRNAT gain access to a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs across various domains, with 100+ courses and new age specializations. Additionally, candidates who perform well in exam are eligible for scholarships of up to 100% , thus reducing the financial burden of their tuition fees to a substantial level. Students unable to secure their place in the scholarship bracket are provided with guidance and support to procure educational loans at a very low interest rate.

What is the syllabus of MRNAT

MRNAT encompasses the curriculum of the qualifying examination (e.g., Class XII or Graduation, depending on the program) and/or aptitude test pertinent to the course applied for.The test comprises 3 sections (for UG aspirants) and 4 sections (for PG aspirants) :

  1. Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning (25 Questions): This section evaluates numerical proficiency and logical acumen, covering arithmetical operations, mathematical problem-solving, numerical series, and reasoning puzzles.
  2. General Awareness (25 Questions): This component assesses the breadth of the candidate’s knowledge in current affairs, global events, history, geography, science, politics, and socio-economic issues.
  3. Verbal Ability (25 Questions): Designed to test linguistic competence, this section evaluates grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and sentence construction.
  4. Program-Specific Questions (For Post Graduate Aspirants): Customised exclusively for PG aspirants, this part examines the candidate’s foundational understanding of key concepts relevant to the program applied for (ex: science, engineering, business, or humanities)

Schedule and Scholarship Timeline

MRNAT 2025 Phase I exam is scheduled for January 18th, 2025. MRNAT-based scholarships under the ""Utkarsh"" and ""Uttam"" schemes are as follows:

SCHEME DATES
Utkarsh Scheme ‘Utkarsh’ is for candidates taking Admission within a period from 25th January 2025 to 29th April 2025.
Uttam Scheme ‘Uttam’ is for candidates taking Admission within a period from 30th April 2025 to 30th June 2025.

Upon successful submission of the application form for the respective program, candidates will be eligible to appear for the MRNAT exam.

Yes, candidates are eligible for a scholarship based on their performance in the MRNAT. The scholarship amount, which can be up to 100% Tuition Fee Waiver, is determined by the candidate's cumulative score in the exam.

Scholarships are available for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs (excluding M.Tech & M.Phil), with Utkarsh and Uttam schemes offering varying scholarship percentages based on MRNAT scores obtained by the candidate.

The MRNAT result is typically declared within 3-Days of completing both sections of the test. Candidates can access their results through a single sign-in dashboard, the access code of which shall be shared with them after the test conduction.

  • Multiple Choice Exam (Online Mode): The MRNAT online exam is a computer-based objective-type test with a duration of 90 minutes (or 60 minutes for Lateral Entry courses). The exam will feature questions from the syllabus covered in the qualifying examination (e.g., Class XII or Graduation, as applicable) and/or assess the candidate's aptitude relevant to the program applied for.

  • MRVision & Values Round:

    • Personal Interaction: Candidates share their motivations, interests, and career objectives.
    • Value-Based Questions: Candidates explore perspectives on key topics like sustainability, teamwork, and societal contributions along with their assigned mentors.
