BAMC (Hons) - Digital Media Production Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the BAMC (Hons) - Digital Media Production at Manav Rachna, candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria

Applicants should have cleared the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in five subjects.

Subject-Wise Eligibility

Eligibility will be decided on the basis of the aggregate percentage in the following subjects:

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication was established in the year 2009 with the aim of imparting quality education in order to cater to the increasing demands of the industry and to train the students in various techniques of communication. The department, through its innovative pedagogy, state of the art infrastructure, matches the ever changing demands of the media and communication industries.

The core strength of the department lies in harmonizing academic strength with industry outlook and interface. The focus is on value based learning that can transform the primary stakeholder, the student- into an efficient professional and a responsible citizen.

The courses and programs have been designed keeping in view the current technology trends, innovations in journalism, and demands of the media industry. The thrust is mainly given to practical aspects of the functioning of the media industry, and therefore, learning becomes more interesting and absorbing. relevant and engaging.

The students tend to learn every aspect of media, communication, design, and also the art of filmmaking. The syllabus is balanced in the ratio of 60: 40 where forty percent is concentrated on the theoretical aspect of Mass Communication. The remaining sixty percent is purely practical oriented. Industry interface is a major area whereby the students get to interact with the who's who of the industry and understand the finer nuances of the industry.
