Community Radio Station-radio manav rachna 107.8 FM-”Feel Good Feel Live” is a 24X 7 community radio station powered by Manav Rachna Vidyantariksha. After completing more than a decade (established in 2009), Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 is dedicated to community service and is a voice of community.

During Covid pandemic, we came out with a Mental Health initiative, ‘Saathi’ which was launched on 16th April, 2020 with trained Clinical Psychologists to provide emotional First Aid and crisis management inputs, helping the people who were stressed out due to current pandemic difficult times. A good number of elderly, students, working women, housewives etc mostly suffering from anxiety, fear and depression were taken care of through online counselling.

MRIIRS has further very significantly contributed in the area of sustainable development and environment protection through annual mega plantation drives, sensitization workshops in sanitation, water conservation and preparing of Badkal Lake revival project. It has helped Faridabad Smart City Project through capacity development of its workforce for health, hygiene and sanitation. Recently to make Faridabad plastic free, segregation and disposal of single use plastic waste is being ensured through preparing Eco Bricks which will be further utilized for construction of various community buildings and utilities.

Solving Polynomial and Non Polynomial Problems :”Addressing Global Challenges”

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) is dedicated to addressing and solving universal problems through its educational, research, and community engagement initiatives. As an institution of higher learning, MRIIRS recognizes its responsibility to contribute to the betterment of society and the world at large. University encourages and supports cutting-edge research across various disciplines. Faculty and students engage in research projects that tackle pressing global challenges, ranging from healthcare innovations and sustainable technologies to environmental conservation and social justice. Many of today's complex problems require interdisciplinary solutions. MRIIRS promotes collaboration across academic fields, encouraging researchers and students to work together to address multifaceted issues such as climate change, public health crises, and urbanization challenges. University values international perspectives and encourages global awareness among its students. By fostering an understanding of global issues, the institute prepares students to contribute to solutions on a global scale and to engage in cross-cultural dialogue. MRIIRS actively engages with local communities to identify and address regional challenges. A very innovative initiative - ‘Teacher on Call Program’ is a Helpline with 30 parallel lines for free service to the Students of Government Schools of Faridabad district through a Toll Free number. The facility is available to Government School Students . This project has helped in significantly raising competency levels of Government School students, whose performance used to be very low during Board Examinations.

Health Camps comprising dental and physiotherapy services / Blood Donation Camps are regular features which are organised by teams of Doctors, Dentists, Physiotherapists and Nutritionists.

Women Empowerment related activities are again one of our primary features. Celebration of International Women’s Day every year is always clubbed with one of the major women empowerment activities like Workshops, Documentary Film Festivals, Awards & recognitions, Plays and other consanguine activities.

The University has collaborated with various other NGOs which are similarly connected with a number of welfare projects. It has collaborated with Sparklife for literacy project for slum children, Sheows for adopting Old Inmates, Voice of Voiceless for helping Animal Shelter Project, Akriti Fondation for providing assistance for mentally retarded inmates. An MOU has been signed with Feeding India for providing Cooked Food/Raw Grains to needy people.

Ek Mutthi Daan is an initiative to ensure that nobody sleeps hungry. Under this initiative wheat, rice, grains and cereals are collected from students, staff and faculty and donated to Orphanages, Old Age Homes or Animal Shelters and to District Administration (for supporting Migrant Labourers during Covid). A donation of Rs. 51 Lacs (by students, staff, faculty and management ) was contributed towards CM Relief fund on appeal from the Chief Minister to take up relief measures during Covid lockdown and thereafter.

Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan, 5 different villages namely Maujpur, Hirapur, Nariyala, Chhainssa, Panhera Khurd of Faridabad district have been adopted by Manav Rachna for various developmental interventions; this initiative brings together people of different religions , caste and group under the same umbrella. Various initiatives such as upgrading of school facilities, providing health checkup facilities, starting a Vocational Center for imparting Computer education and spoken English facilities, mega plantation drive in the Village, sensitizing the Villages about hygiene and cleanliness and helping District Administration in making these Villages Open Defecation Free are conducted in the adopted villages.

Sustainability: “Our promise to the Earth and the future”

As an initiative to protect the environment D. OP Bhalla Foundation has installed a PNG Crematorium at Swarg Ashram, Ajronda, Faridabad, which protects the mother earth from pollution created by traditional methods.

By winning the second position in the 17th Microsoft Imagine Cup World Finals.They have designed smart automated Anti-Pollution and Drug delivery masks specifically for patients that are suffering from asthma and other chronic respiratory conditions.
