Campus Wide Surveillance

Manav Rachna Campus is fully under CCTV surveillance at all the times of the day. Cameras are installed at all the significant places and are monitored in Camera surveillance room. This provides a better degree of security especially for the female students.

Barrier-Free Environment

The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusiveness policy being followed at MRIIRS comprises a framework of principles and protocols that an organization embraces to guarantee impartial and equal treatment for all individuals, irrespective of factors such as age, gender, disability, race, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity status.

University has the provision of white canes or blind sticks for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to enable them for safe navigation in the university campus. The students can avail this facility from the Medical centre or Help Desk as per their requirement. Wheelchair facility for students with disabilities in the university campus promotes the accessibility of the physical environment for individuals with locomotor disabilities.

The library at Manav Rachna University is inclusive and welcoming to people with disabilities, and ensures that they have access to the resources and opportunities as other users. The library has a subscription to Sugamya Pustakalaya. Sugamya Pustakalaya provides more than 6,53,234 e-books catering to the needs of persons with visual impairments. Kibo, the Scanning Device, for students with special needs, helps to read & translate printed/handwritten/digital text across 15+ languages in real-time via audio. Screen Readers, speech-to-text software and Brailey displays support students with visual or learning disabilities. Sign language interpreters and assistive listening devices also support the students with hearing impairments. NVDA, open source software is installed at the Admission Cell and Central Library to help individuals who are blind or visually impaired to access and interact with information on a computer screen.

At Manav Rachna University, the inclusivity is part of pedagogy as well. Multiple mode of instruction and alternative evaluation methods such as extended test durations and scribes ensure fair assessment. University offers the facility of scribe and reader is available during the examination for students with benchmark disabilities.

Counselling Services to address emotional, psychological, and social challenges faced by specially abled students are also available. Saksham the counselling cell helps special students overcome the challenges.

Moreover, we provide essential resources like readers and scribes, as well as digital copies of reading materials to support the students.
