M.A - Economics

Programme Overview

The M.A. Economics program at MRIIRS is a full-time graduate program that teaches students advanced economic theory, how to do quantitative analysis, and how to evaluate policies. There are a lot of different things that students learn, and they have to work hard on data analysis. This makes sure that graduates are ready to work for the government, schools, businesses, and as consultants.

Students learn how to use Excel, SPSS, R, and E-Views by doing projects in the real world, going to workshops, case studies, and seminars led by experts from all over the world. The program has a lot of core and specialised classes. Some of these are Advanced Economics, Econometrics, Money-Banking and Financial Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Behavioural Economics, Public Budget and Fiscal Policy, and many more.

The M.A. in Economics program at MRIIRS puts a lot of stress on being a good citizen, doing the right thing, and learning from your mistakes. It teaches students how to think critically and lead others so they can change the world and fix real-world economic problems.
