The main objective of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cloud Computing is to drive innovation and research excellence in the domains of AI and ML, while concurrently facilitating practical training and expertise development in cloud computing, specifically through open-source platforms and applications. This interdisciplinary hub aims to empower students and researchers, foster ethical AI practices, and enhance industry collaboration, thereby advancing responsible AI technologies, bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, and actively disseminating knowledge to benefit both the academic and broader communities.
The High Performance Computing Lab is for both classroom instruction as well as a research use. It is used in the instruction of high performance computing, scientific computing, computer graphics, and general Linux instruction. This versatile facility provides students with hands-on experience, enabling them to explore the intricacies of computational science and graphics while gaining proficiency in Linux environments.
These features collectively make an HPC Lab an essential resource for scientific research, computational modeling, and data-driven investigations across a wide range of disciplines, while also facilitates educational initiatives in the field of high-performance computing.
