Initiatives & Innovative Practices

Initiatives by Faculty

Our faculty members are actively engaged in a host of academic activities outside the department, such as designing and teaching Value Added Courses as well as elective courses such as Introduction to Economic Theory, Economic Growth and Development among others. Our faculty are also responsible for mentoring students for conducting various activities under the EcoNomads Society as well as contributing articles for our in-house publication, EcoBizz.

Initiatives by Students

The EcoNomads Society is the official Economics society of the institute which has been instrumental in organizing various activities from time to time, such as Expert Discussion on Annual Budget, organization of fests on socio-economic issues such as Force De Fem. The society also convenes on a regular basis to conduct inter and intra departmental activities such as book discussion, Vaad-vivaad debate, poster making competition, documentary screening etc.
