Admission Criteria
The admission to LLM program is based on the merit prepared on the basis of an All India Admission Test (MRNAT) conducted for the purpose.

The CLAT or LSAT score is also acceptable.

Law Graduate with LL.B. of either 5 years integrated or 3 year degree as per UGC norms.

Admission Criteria
The admission to this LLM program is meant for working professionals with minimum experience of 3 yrs in any field of law.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Law Graduate with LL.B. of either 5 years integrated or 3 year degree as per UGC norms.;
  • Three years practice, judicial experience or as law officer or with any law firm or any senior lawyer or as research associate or teaching assistant etc.

 

 

Program Structure

  1. Foundation/Compulsory Papers (3 papers of three credits each) (45 Class hours per subject)
  2. Optional/Specialization Papers (6 papers of two credits each) (30 Class hours per subject)
  3. Dissertation (three credits)

 

Placement Opportunities:

Placement will be available through Legal Placement Committee of the University.

  2. MRU is pioneer in the field of Commercial Arbitration and is in the process of developing a hub of commercial arbitration, both domestic as well as international. Specialized resource persons in addition to the regular faculty, are also available, from among the Advisory Board. We also have visiting and guest
  3. MRU has Centre of Excellence on ADR, to give practical knowledge and to conduct simulation exercises for the students.
  4. MRU has initiated the process to have collaboration with law firms, arbitrators, arbitral bodies such as ICADR and foreign Universities.

1. If the undergraduate degree is 5 year Integrated program, then cumulative percentage of 5 years shall be calculated;
2. If the undergraduate degree is 3 years Law Program, then the cumulative percentage of 3 years shall be calculated.
