Alumni Interaction

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of MRU organized an Alumni Lecture on "LTE Evolution" on 24th November 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in I block Auditorium.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Vimal Sharma, an Alumnus of 2004-2008 batch. Mr. Vimal Sharma is working as Service Solution Manager at Nokia Networking, Noida. He gave a detailed introduction about LTE and the technologies driving it, which also included the reasons for the failure of the 3G technology in India.

This was followed by its future, convergence and its applications in the modern day world such as IOT, Internet, Networking, etc. Moving on further, the agenda covered topics such as LTE offerings, its international standardization, 3GPP standards, etc.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Manav Rachna University organized a Webinar which was delivered by ECE Alumnus Mr. Prashant Gupta (2K11-15 Batch) on "Ensuring Certainty in Uncertain Times-Gear up for the Industry" for B.Tech students on 9th May, 2020. Mr. Prashant is currently working as a Software development Engineer with Amazon, USA.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Manav Rachna University organized an Alumni Interaction with our Alumnus Mr. Raghav Rastogi and Mr. Dhruv Sharma on 15th April, 2021 through Google Meet on the topic “Scope of VLSI and EDA domain”.

Mr. Raghav Rastogi is currently working as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff, Seimens EDA (formerly MentorGraphics) and Mr. Dhruv Sharma is working as Application Engineer, Cadence Design Systems
