OBJECTIVES

  • To deliberate various fields of nutrition for exploration of research prospects.
  • To inculcate the skill of research reading.
  • To interpret and evaluate nutrition standards and analyze nutritional assessment data to make evidence-based decisions.
  • To discuss the nutrition problems and possible solution to problems.
  • For this each student will select one evidence based article and through round table discussion the content is discussed.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

  • Student will be use a evidence based technology and knowledge into practice.
  • Student will have ability to understand cause-and-effect relationships, define problems, apply scientific principles, analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from quantitative/qualitative data.

  • To communicate advances/developments in the post-harvest technology and engineering aspects of food products.
  • To keep up-to-date with the recently published literature.
  • To foster an aptitude of research reading.
  • To build a community for exchanging research advances in area of food science and technology.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

  • Student’s reading habits will improve and get experience in research critiquing, and evaluation.
  • Student will get the ability to practice the research data interpretation.
