Criteria for Preparation of Merit list
Merit preparation / short listing of candidates shall be on the basis of score in MRNAT 2020 / Graduation Qualifying Examination.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
Pass with 60% or more marks in aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in Master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

 

Note:- In case the candidate has opted for an additional subject in class 12th, aggregate shall be calculated counting the best 5 subjects including English as one of the subject

  • Ed. Special Education Programme offered by the Department is approved by Rehabilitation Council of India and Government of Haryana
  • With increasing emphasis of various Governmental initiatives for the empowerment of people with Learning Disability, education of children with LDs is gaining its due importance. The programme intends to prepare human and professional special educators who can contribute towards creation of progressive society through inclusive educational opportunities.
  • The theoretical orientation of different types of learning disabilities, their identification, assessment, interventions and other significant aspects through a well – designed curricula will be imparted by the special educators along with experts working in the area.

  • The significant focus of the programme is to sensitise the trainees from within by nurturing humane aspect of their personality through the emerging practices involving personal reflection along with use of creative expressions like art, drama and theatre.
  • Competency building among trainees is also ensured by imparting practical skill of using technology effectively, making IEPs independently, providing counselling along with nurturing life skills and functional training among children with special needs.
