The University provides a special Clan-based Life Skills Programme that focuses on increasing life skills, building job skills, promoting values, leadership, and communication, and encouraging meaningful living to help students attain these goals.
The Life Skills Programme and the Clan-based structure, which consists of the Wild Cats, Forest Rhinos, Water Sharks, and Air Falcons clans, are managed by the Students Welfare Department. The department aims to create an environment that promotes academic excellence and personal development while keeping the fun factor alive.
The clan offers a variety of opportunities at the departmental level for pre-service teachers to develop their communication, leadership, time-management, and resource-management skills, as well as build their confidence.
The coordinators organise different co-curricular activities and competitions for the students that help to explore their interests and skills. These skills help the students to perform well and confidently in all facets of life.
