B.A. B.Ed Programme

The programme follows the choice-based credit system. The total credit requirement for the award of the B.A.B.Ed. degree ranges between 170 and 180 depending upon the specified curriculum and scheme of examination of B.A.B.Ed. programme. The distribution of credits over the semesters of the programme is as specified in the table below:

Semesters 3 and 4	22-26 credits per semester
Semesters 5 and 6	22-26 credits per semester
Inter-Semester Break Post 6th Semester	6 credits
Semesters 7 and 8	16-20 credits in each semester
Total	170-180 Credits

Candidates shall have to earn the minimum credits as specified in the curriculum scheme of the Program, to be eligible for the award of a degree. These credits should be earned under different categories as follows:

All core courses as defined in the curriculum scheme
All summer training
At least two elective courses offered by the parent department
At least one elective course offered by the Department of Law
At least one elective course by the Department of Management and Commerce

B.Sc. B.Ed Programme

B.Ed Programme

B.Ed. programme is a professional course of two years duration. The maximum time span in which a candidate must qualify for the degree shall be three academic years, failing which he/ she shall not be allowed to continue his/ her studies for the program.

The distribution of credits over the semesters of the programme is as specified in the table below:

Students shall also pass all University mandatory courses, audit courses, NTCC, and bridge courses and shall fulfil any other requirement as prescribed by the University from time to time.
