Centre of Excellence

A Center of Excellence (CoE) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a specialized program or initiative aimed at fostering advanced research, innovation, and expertise in a particular area within the field of ECE.

CoEs are designed to concentrate resources, expertise, and collaboration to achieve excellence in a specific domain.

Establishing a Center of Excellence in the Department of ECE requires careful planning, dedication, and collaboration among stakeholders. It can significantly contribute to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and preparing students for careers in a rapidly evolving field.

Department of ECE has one Center of Excellence (CoE) for Solar PV Skills established at MRIIRS on 3rd April, 2021

which is a specialized program or initiative aimed at fostering advanced research, innovation, and expertise in a Solar area within the field of ECE and another Centre of Excellence for Intel Intelligent Systems Lab to provide insights to the most important technologies driving the modern world namely Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies has developed Intel Intelligent Systems Lab to provide insights to the most important technologies driving the modern world namely Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.

In this lab the Students will be given 360 degree exposure to various Intel Hardware and Software platforms that are used in Industry for AI and IoT development.

Students will get an opportunity to work on Intel Xeon® Processors, Intel Parallel Studio Software, Intel System Studio Software, Intel AI development Tools, Intel AI Software Libraries, Intel Frame Work Optimization, Movidius TM Neural Compute Stick and Intel FPGA Boards.

In the IoT Space the students will get to learn about Intel Galileo, Intel Edison Boards along with other popular boards like Raspberry Pi and Arduino for designing IoT Systems.
