State of the Art Labs

Intel Intelligent Systems Lab has been developed to provide insights to the most important technologies driving the modern world namely Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.

In this lab the Students are given 360 degree exposure to various Intel Hardware and Software platforms that are used in Industry for AI and IoT development.

Students get an opportunity to work on Intel Xeon® Processors, Intel Parallel Studio Software, Intel System Studio Software, Intel AI development Tools, Intel AI Software Libraries, Intel Frame Work Optimization, Movidius TM Neural Compute Stick and Intel FPGA Boards.

In the IoT Space the students get to learn about Intel Galileo, Intel Edison Boards along with other popular boards like Raspberry Pi and Arduino for designing IoT Systems.

The MODROB Lab was developed with reference to the grant received for the project titled - Modernization of Embedded system lab with Internet of Things(IoT) with a total cost of Rs 1911041/- with Dr. Leena G. and Dr. Abhiruchi Passi as Coordinator and Co Coordinator which was submitted to AICTE under Department of ECE, MRIIRS in January 2021. AICTE had sanctioned an amount of 1525046/- (Fifteen lakhs twenty five thousand and forty six only) for this project. AICTE had released 80% of sanctioned amount Rs.1220036/- (Rupees Twelve lakhs Twenty Thousand thirty Six only) as the first installment Grant_in-Aid under the scheme (MoDRoB - REG) for the year 2021-22.

The IoT training box and other accessories were purchased and the lab is being functional in AS-10.
