All the students undergo compulsory in-house summer training to develop skills in the application of theory to practical real-life problems. Students also actively organize various programs and participate in workshops under the aegis of SAE, ISHRAE, and ASME.

Students are encouraged to participate in seminars and conferences, and they have demonstrated excellence in practical knowledge by making innovative projects and winning prizes consecutively for the last many years in the project competitions organized by the Faridabad Industries Association (FIA).

Programme has collaboration with the Altair Engg. & DesignTech, to provide the knowledge of Structural Analysis, Thermal Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and to execute the Industry Projects.

The department has a pool of highly qualified faculty members having rich experience in teaching, research, and industry who have been imparting quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

  • State of art lab facilities are available in the department which include Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab, Manufacturing workshop, Robotics lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Automobile and ICGT Lab, 3-D Printing, Heat Transfer, Hydraulic and Pneumatics Lab etc. Student can do hand-on practices on the facilities available.
  • Mechanical Engineering Department has signed MoU with Altair-DesignTech to enhance the knowledge of knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Structural Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Manufacturability of Products of Casting, Plastics and Sheet Metal, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Composite Materials and Industrial Projects Execution.
  • The Mechanical Engineering Department has signed MoU with Air-conditioning India Pvt. Ltd (DAIPL) to start a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on HVAC Systems in the University that will impart practical skill training and industrial exposure to the students within the campus.
  • The Mechanical Engineering Department has signed a MoU with TransNeuron to transform students into industry-ready professionals by providing them with adequate backing to take that journey. Company will help the students to obtain industry-relevant certifications, by giving them an opportunity to try a hand at industry projects and internships.
  • Course content also covers the areas of Cyber Physical systems, Data Analytics, Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Mechatronics and 3D Printing etc. which have also been incorporated for developing “industry ready” students.
