Innovative Practices

Dr. Aarti Prakash Khare is the mentor of start-up AS04 Entertainment, a production house which makes comic books, animations(Focused on and inspired by Indian Culture and Heritage ),and provides B2B services.

For project “Chitrabhoomi '' she is currently working on production and scripting of the podcasts which will convey the folklore of India and it's culture. The second podcast would contain originals and stories regarding murder, mystery, crime, drama, and other genres.

Prioritizing Student Oriented Learning:

Department of English focuses on overall enhanced learning by assigning real life exposure as visits of modern art gallery, cultural heritage to experience the culture and the real life exposure to the students which gives them an idea on how to deal with certain aspects in the real world.

Technological Assimilation

The education system is fully equipped with technological advances to provide students the best quality of education and a proper base for interactive learning.

The interactive session, recoded expert lecture and PowerPoint presentations are used in the classroom teaching.

Social Media Integration

Through the help of social media platforms, the department has been able to connect people from far of places. It showers ample of experiences, activities, projects etc. which are happening inside the university.

Faculty members are organizing academic activities outside the department and inside the department periodically,

such as designing and teaching Value Added Courses as well as elective courses such as Practical English for Professionals, Communication Skills in English, and open elective courses like Technical Writings and Science Fiction.

Faculty member s are also responsible for mentoring students for conducting various activities under the Department Clubs as well as contributing articles for our in-house publication, Cadence of Composition.

Certification through NPTEL MOOC

We at Manav Rachna are the “Local Chapter” or nodal center for NPTEL MOOC. Students are encouraged to take diverse courses from the portal. Once students have finished the course, they earn credits for it which are accounted for in their academic results.
