About Department

As the Head of the Department of English, MRIIRS, I am extremely proud of the rich literary knowledge and skills possessed by our students. Literature requires enthusiasm, and our students are full of it.

The Department of English is blessed with hardworking faculty members and talented alumni as well. We place a strong emphasis on practical learning and the improvement of critical thinking abilities. The purpose is to give the students wholesome education so that they can become professionals with social awareness. Our undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs equip our students with the moral depth and intellectual rigor required to address the challenges of a period of crucial societal upheaval.

The students are given adequate knowledge and exposure with many opportunities they need to take their proper place in the rapidly becoming global village. The capacity of our students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to the needs of the real world makes them highly sought-after. The department takes care about the classroom leaning with different pedagogy to create the environment of knowledge, research and professionals so that students land into the desired job.
