SUPRA SAE 2011: In July 2011, MRIU team participated in racing competition held at Chennai and won first prize in innovation category of Rs 50,000/- and second prize of Rs 25000/- in skid pad test category

Team Kalacar won 1st prize in the event named “The Most Famous Team on Social Media” at in International Go-Cart Championship competition organised by Lovely Professional University (LPU), Phagwara, Punjab

Students participated in Formula Student Germany-2014 Championship held at Hockenheimring, Germany from 29th July-3rd August, 2014.

MECHNORAGE: The objective of the event was to enhance skills, talents & teamwork among the students. Events: Technical Quiz; Junkyard Wars; Overhauling of Engine; Skid Pad Test. A total of 154 participants took part in this event.

Team for SAE Efficycle 2019, consisted of Dhruv Sharma, Ranjeet, Vaibhav Singla, Nikhil, Tushar, Saideep Ghimre, Sangram, Kaushal, Raghvendra and Nishchal Thapa, students of Mechanical Department under the mentorship of Dr. Abhishek Chauhan.

Team TIFAN consisting of Rohan Dhawan (Captain), ALONG WITH THE TEAM cleared the virtual round under the leader ship of Dr. Abhishek Chauhan and are participating in the competition as and when the dates are declared (2020)
