Science is the process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that’s precise, predictive, and reliable – a transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional.” In tandem with the quote, the School of Sciences, Manav Rachna University is impeccably catering to the need of science in responding to the global challenges and societal needs. It is committed to excellence in education and research.

The School of Sciences is home to three independent verticals of the department of sciences: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes that are designed to be outcome-based and industry-focused. Each vertical of the department offers programs that encourage a multidisciplinary approach and promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. The strong core curriculum is complemented by a basket of electives. It strives to create and sustain an environment for learning, inquiry, and the generation of new ideas to aid the education of future engineers and science graduates.

The school has established one University Instrumentation Centre (UIC) to provide sample characterization and testing facilities for both internal and external researchers especially in the area of Chemical sciences, life sciences, material sciences, nano sciences and other branches of applied sciences and engineering.

The School of Sciences takes pride in its decorated faculty members, who are not only groomed in premier institutes of the country but also are highly experienced, dedicated to their respective specialized thrust areas, actively engaged in quality research and continuous upgradation of their pedagogical skills and they firmly believe in establishing a democratic relationship with their students as well.

The School affirms for its active international research collaboration with scientists/faculties at international facilities at POSTECH & PAL, Pohang, UNIST, Ulsan, Korea, KIST Seoul, Korea, GIST, Kwangju, Korea, North West University, South Africa and KIS Sweden. In furtherance, we have national collaborators at IUAC, NPL, and IIT, New Delhi. We organize International conferences to give students a flavor of organizing and hosting a professional event.

School has numerous connections with academicians from national and international platforms, Industry professionals, and scientists from government organizations. Cultural events for the holistic development of students, organizes fun and or educational trips for students, visits to villages as a CSR initiative, sports competitions, etc are organized by the University.

As a student in our program, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including labs and research centers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in internships and research projects that will help you gain practical experience and apply what you have learned in the classroom.The School, with all of its state-of –art ambiance, promises striving young minds of an all-inclusive academic and personality development.
