Ms. Sampriti Phukan

Brief Profile

An alumnus of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, Ms. Sampriti Phukan has more than 10 years litigation experience in Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi which encompasses many reported judgments including Constitutional Matters. She was junior to the doyen of Constitutional Law, Late Shri P. P. Rao, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India. She has fought many legal battles for the rights and privileges of the Street Vendors in various courts. Legal Associate in University of Delhi and Legal Adviser to NGOs are also a part of her experiences.

Since 2019, she is associated with academics. She is associated with School of Law, Manav Rachna University as an Assistant Professor since 2021. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. from Manav Rachna University on Street Vendors Act. She has contributed to academics through many research papers, book chapters, and paper presentation in numerous International and National Conferences.
