Prof. (Dr.) Ruchi Lal is serving the Head of Department at School of Law at Manav Rachna University. She is an academician with a rich tapestry of 14 years of experience in the realms of education and research. Her dedication to the field of law is underscored by her educational background, having earned her Ph.D. in International Law from the esteemed Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Her academic prowess is further accentuated by her qualifications as a UGC-JRF & NET scholar. With a Master of Laws (LLM) also from Campus Law Centre, Dr. Ruchi is equipped with a robust foundation to navigate the intricacies of legal academia. She has significantly contributed to legal research, presenting over 50 research papers at national and international conferences and publishing 65 papers in prestigious Scopus and UGC Care journals. During her academic journey, Dr. Ruchi has held various academic and administrative roles, including drafting and reviewing syllabi, serving as a member of the Board of Studies, and organizing numerous educational events. She is an active member of esteemed academic organizations such as the All-India Law Teachers Congress, Indian Sociological Society, and South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology.
