Dr. Pragati Chauhan

Brief Profile

Dr. Pragati Chauhan is currently working as a Professor, School of Management & Commerce, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. She is a Delhi University alumnus and a UGC NET qualified faculty. She is a certified National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) educator, Bhartya Yuva Shakti (BYST) mentor, certified Innovation ambassador from Ministry of Education, IIC council. Her Broad areas of research and teaching include Institutional Social responsibility, organizational behavior, economics, financial services and entrepreneurship. She is heading the entrepreneurship cell at the university and works actively towards sensitizing the youth in the campus towards developing entrepreneurial skills and mindset.

She has coordinated government-funded projects of AICTE and DST on creating entrepreneurship awareness and women's entrepreneurship development in the campus. She has also been mentoring start-ups on various national and international competitions and platforms like the Young Tycoon Business Challenge (YTBC) the world’s biggest student-run Business Ideas competition for high school students and similar such global platforms both as a Jury and Mentor for start-ups pitching their ideas for securing funding. Her recent areas of interest in the field of entrepreneurship involves training in business simulation and working towards actively engaging in community development by conducting entrepreneurship awareness drives in schools and colleges where students can be mentored on their business ideas.
