Dr. Mohammad Javed Idrisi

Brief Profile

Dr. Mohammad Javed Idrisi is a distinguished Professor of Applied Mathematics in School of Sciences (Mathematics), Manav Rachna University. With a robust academic background, he holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia (2008) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Maharshi Dayanand University (2015). His academic journey includes roles as Associate Professor at Mizan-Tepi University, Ethiopia, and Assistant Professor at Al-Falah University, India. Dr. Javed has an impressive research portfolio, with over 57 published papers, including 40 articles in prestigious SCIE-indexed journals such as Springer, Elsevier, IEEE, and MDPI. He has co-authored two books, "Applied Mathematics-I" and "Applied Mathematics-II," for Diploma Engineering students. He has supervised two Ph.D. students and currently one student from MRU is pursuing PhD under his co-supervision. He has successfully completed one research project funded by Ministry of Education, Ethiopia. In 2022, he was honored with the prestigious "Incredible Young Researcher of India" award, recognizing his significant contributions to the field. Dr. Javed is a sought-after speaker, frequently invited to lead international and national conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs (FDPs). As a lifetime member of several esteemed organizations, including the Centre for Fundamental Research in Space Dynamics and Celestial Mechanics, MathTech Thinking Foundation, and the International Association of Engineers, Dr. Javed continues to make significant strides in both academia and research.
