Dr. J. P. Sharma

Brief Profile

Dr. J. P. Sharma is associate professor of mechanical engineering department. He had recently completed his Ph.D. in the area of Tribology, Failure phenomenon of hydrodynamic bearing. He has completed his M.Tech. in the area of Manufacturing and automation from MDU, Rohtak. During more than 11 years of his teaching and research experience, he has authored 9 research papers that have been published in journals of national and international repute. Under his guidance, 4 students completed their post graduation and 2 students doing their Ph.D.

He also mentored various startups and guide students for projects in the field of robotics, automation and computational fluid dynamics. under his guidance, students won prices at national events such as E yantra, Aneveshan etc. He conducted various workshop on 3d modelling, structural and CFD simulation, robotics, automation and industry 4.0.
