Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Katiyar

Brief Profile

Dr. Ajit is the head of department of mechanical engineering & Associate Dean Student Welfare, holds a Ph.D. in Solar desalination system, where his research focused on the Application of Mono and Hybrid Nanomaterial’s in Pyramid type Solar Still for Desalination. He has more than 17 years of teaching experience. Dr. Ajit has authored 18 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, contributing significantly to the academic discourse in his field. His research has been cited extensively and has had a substantial impact on the advancement of solar energy applications.

As the Associate Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Ajit plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of the student body. He has initiated and overseen various programs aimed at enhancing the overall student experience, including academic advising, counseling services, and extracurricular activities. He is also the coordinator of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for conducting different activities related to villages .
