Here in the Department of Applied Psychology, we create psychologists who have fundamental knowledge of psychological principles to meet current and future needs globally and for local communities. The MA Applied Psychology program is designed to train future researchers to describe, apply, and evaluate complex psychological phenomena and resolve issues pertinent to mankind.

This program trains young minds to become professionals with strong ethical principles in the field of Psychology. This program inculcates continuous learning to prepare students to successfully meet the professional demands and challenges by helping them learn range of skills including Interpersonal skills, group dynamics and teamwork.

The MA Applied Psychology program lays an emphasis on understanding and applying psychology through experiential learning and hands-on activities, apart from classroom learning. This includes the use of the Manoshala Lab and Manovritti counseling cell, which is a Centre for Psychometric Assessment, Psychological Counseling, Psychotherapy & Training & Development at the Department of Applied Psychology.

The combination of courses offered will enable them to develop confidence, knowledge, and capability in both the research and practical application of psychological theory. This course examines how psychology is applied to work and in the community, and how psychological interventions might help real-world problems.

Applied Psychology provides the foundations for a career in psychology and affiliated fields, offering modules in the core areas of modern psychology, including cognitive, biological, developmental, abnormal psychology, etc.
