Webinar cum Workshop on “Application of X-ray absorption Spectroscopy in Nano-Material Research”

It was aimed to motivate the students towards Applied Physics philosophies and cultivate them for research/developments in frontier areas of Nano-Science & Nano-Technology like; Nano-dimensional Li/Na/K ion Battery electrodes and X-ray techniques.

The speaker; Dr. Jitendra Pal Singh first discussed the basic/applied Physics concepts on X-ray generation, X-ray alignment and application of X-rays in Nano-technology.

He precisely discussed the Battery materials, issues in the existing Battery materials, and solutions of the issues in Battery materials for developing High density and compact Batteries for vehicles/phones/laptops etc. Distinguished faculty members and students from M.R.U. and other institutes/universities/colleges also joined the webinar like; IUAC New Delhi, KIET Engineering College Ghaziabad, SSLD Girls Engineering College, Aligarh. A lively question and answer session followed the webinar where all the audience members asked deep and meaningful questions. Dr. Jitendra 's research knowledge and instruments demonstration were appreciated by the audience and there were requests to conduct more such sessions.
