The session commenced with the welcoming note of speakers; Mr. Anand Gunjotikar and Mr. Susheel Kumar (senior Engineer and product specialist) from Lab-India Pvt. Ltd. The session was conducted by two M.Sc Physics students (Ms. Tanisha Gautam and Ms. Anjali Sharma).
The speaker; Mr. Anand Gunjotikar was welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Varshney (dean research and applied sciences), Dr. Aditya Sharma (Convener of event) and Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Shukla by presenting a sapling. Likewise, Mr. Susheel Kumar was welcomed by Dr. D. K. Sharma (HOD, Physics), Dr. Shiv Kumar and Dr. Deepti Maikhuri by presenting a sapling. Further, lamp-lighting was done by speakers and faculty members of the Physics department. Mr. Anand Gunjotikar started his talk by addressing requirements and applications of FE-SEM instruments in various areas of science and technology. He explained the principle, construction and working of FE-SEM. More specifically, he explained the development of various parts of machines in the Lab-India company. He also discussed various insights, experience & successful working strategies in the emerging sectors of science & technology for U.G./P.G and Ph.D students. Students put forth a lot of their doubts which were well taken up by Mr. Anand Gunjotikar and Mr. Susheel Kumar. Students also found this event enjoyable, informative & extremely useful from a future perspective. Finally, the session ends with a vote of thanks to speakers by Prof. (Dr.) D. K. Sharma, for spreading the essential information among all the students.
