A Bachelor of Design (B. Des) is a 4-year undergraduate program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of design theory, techniques, and methodologies. The course is typically designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a variety of design-related careers.

Upon completion of a B. Des program, graduates may pursue careers in a wide range of industries, including advertising, graphic design, web design, product design, interior design, and fashion design, among others.

Alternatively, some graduates may choose to pursue further education, such as a Master of Design (M. Des) program, to further specialize in a particular area of design.

The interior design industry offers a variety of career opportunities for individuals with creative talent and a passion for design. Some of the most common roles in the industry include:

  • Hospitality Interior Design: Designing interiors of hotels, resorts, and other hospitality spaces.
  • Healthcare Interior Design: Designing interiors of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare spaces.
  • Retail Interior Design: Designing interiors of retail stores and shopping centers.
  • Exhibition and Event Interior Design: Designing interiors of exhibition spaces and events.

BDes - Communication Design

The communication Design industry is a diverse and dynamic field that encompasses a range of design disciplines aimed at creating visually compelling messages and stories. It includes:

  • Graphic Designer: Designing visual content for print and digital media, such as logos, posters, brochures, websites, and social media graphics.
  • Web Design : Managing the creative direction of visual content for advertising campaigns, films, TV shows, and other media.
  • Motion Designer: Creating animated visual content, including title sequences, commercials, and other video content.
  • Advertising: Developing advertising campaigns across a variety of media channels, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Branding: Developing and managing brand identities, including logos, color palettes, and brand guidelines.

  • Interior Designer: Designing interior spaces of homes, apartments, commercial spaces, hotels, and other spaces.
  • Furniture Designer: Designing furniture pieces that complement the interior design of a space.
  • Lighting Designer: Designing lighting plans for interior spaces.
  • Project Manager: Managing interior design projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing construction.
