Brief Profile
Dr. Sujata is an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from Patna University. The topic of her Ph.D. is “The Image Childhood in the Indian English Novels and the African Novels Written in English: A Comparative Study.” She has a substantial teaching and research career of about twenty two years. Equally proficient in the area of English language and literature, Dr. Sujata is also an active researcher. She has published about 25 research papers on reputed National and International journals and has presented equal numbers of research papers on topics of literary and humanistic concerns. Her areas of research include Classical Literature (Indian and Greek), World Literature, Age of Chaucer, Age of Shakespeare, 19th century Literature, African and Indian Writing in English and Translation studies. She has guided and supervised three candidates for their Ph.D. degree. Presently she is supervising six candidates in their pursuits of Ph.D.
