Dr. Soma Arora

Brief Profile

Dr Soma Arora is Professor at MRIIS India, PhD in Management GGSIP University, and MBA in International Business from IIFT, a premier AACSB accredited institution in India. She completed her graduation in Economics Honors from Calcutta University. Dr Arora has an illustrious career in teaching at several Ranked Business Schools in India and abroad such as – IMT, IIFT, MDI, University of Wollongong in Dubai (Top 1% world QS ranking ), amongst others. Her area of expertise in Business Analytics is especially sought after by Great Learnings in collaboration with UT Dallas, USA. Dr Arora has proven expertise as an independent researcher, publishing several teaching cases with Emerald and Practitioner papers in scopus indexed journals.Dr Arora has received special recognition as an instructor under the Experiential Learning Project X Culture under Prof Vasyl Taras of UNCG USA. Due to her exemplary contribution towards this global project she is on the Strategic Advisory Board for Project X culture. She is the recipient for a valuable fellowship by OUBS, Open University Business School, under Milton Keynes University in UK in 2019 and remained on the Steering Committee of GBSN for 3 years for Experiential Learning.
