"Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Gupta is a well-known physiotherapy Academic and administrator and researcher with expertise in Trans-disciplinary Innovation in Therapeutics, Electrotherapy modalities, Orthopaedic rehabilitation, SEMG Techniques, IMU technology, Biomechanics and kinesiology, professional ethics & law etc. In more than 25 years of professional experience he has taught and guided research in in UG and PG Physiotherapy education. He has recently steered two Erasmus+ funded European projects “Tuning India” and “RISHII project” at G D Goenka university. He was part of an international project of development of a mobile app on strike based on android and IOS platform “Stroke Riskometer” AUT Auckland. Prior to taking up the current role at MRIIRS in 2023, Sanjeev Gupta has served as professor & Asst. Dean at Goenka University 4 years, Director for more than 10 years of the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy, New. Delhi. Prior to this, he was Principal of Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and Allied Sciences, N. Delhi, both affiliated to GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He has traversed a journey covering spectral aspects of professional career ranging from Policy, Administration, Principal, Associate Prof. Reader and lecturer, Consultant etc. during his employment with several premiere institutions.
Professor Gupta has widely travelled in Europe, USA, Russia and singapore etc. for invited keynotes and expert talks.
Prof. Gupta was registered with the delhi council for the Physiotherapy and occupational therapy previously and presently he is registered with Haryana State Council for Physiotherapy. He is Member - School Board for School of Nursing Sciences & Allied Health,(SNSAH) JAMIA HAMDARD New Delhi."
