Dr. Ritu Sharma

Brief Profile

Dr Sharma has a profound experience spanning over two decades, where she played multifarious roles at curricular and co-curricular areas and at leadership positions as well. Having a Masters degree in English Literature and Education, she has across almost all disciplines at University level. Her Doctorate topic, “A Study of Socio-emotional Adjustment and Guidance Needs of elementary school students with Learning Disabilities” made her familiar with special children and their needs. During these years of teaching she has authored books for students at Master’s level for Vikas Publishers, Noida. These books are being used by reputed universities of the country as part of their distance education programmes. These Universities include Jamia Millia Islamia, Guwahati University, Bangalore University, Utkal University and KKHOU to name a few. She has developed two open education courses for oe4bw, as part of UNESCO online mentoring program. The courses are : Essentials of Peace and Art Integration : Road towards True Inclusion. She is developer of course on Essentials of Peace and Sustainability being offered to Fakir Mohan University, Orissa. Dr Sharma has mentored an Open Online Course, Gauging Emotional Intelligence using Digital Interface being offered on Open Online Mentoring Platform oe4bw, an initiative of UNESCO.
