Brief Profile
Dr. Preeti Chhabra, Doctorate in Economics with Twelve years of teaching experience. Currently working as associate professor in School of Commerce, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies.
Have written nine books in field of Economics, Corporate Social responsibility and Financial Management. As poetry is her hobby so she has written one book in Hindi poetry. She has published 11 research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals. She has developed 5 courses on online Swayam portal (Economics for Business Decision for M. Com., Macro Economics for M. Com., Micro Economics for B. Com. (H), Macro Economics for B. Com. (H) and Indian Economy and Social Environment for B. Com. (H)). She has performed responsibility of M. Com. Programme Coordinator in Manav Rachna online Distance Education.
In regular mode teaching she always use innovative methods to enhance students’ knowledge like regular assignments, discussing case studies, real world examples, use of ICT tools, open air class rooms, interaction in classroom, providing expert lectures, role play. Many times she has received appreciation letter on the basis of student feedback on ERP. She used to take care of all the extra-curricular engagements at departmental levels from 10 years. She is taking care of all the student centric activities and CSR activities in the department.
At central level she carried the responsibility of being Clan Chief of Wild Cats (2020-23), the role which she justify with utmost perfection and diligence by organising and controlling many state and national level events with my student council. She was the organising member of National Environment Youth Parliament, at Parliament House, India.
