Dr. Prachie Sharma

Brief Profile

Dr Prachie Sharma is an Assistant Professor at Department of Biotechnology. She has an over 8 years of research as well as teaching experience. She has an active experience in innovations projects such as Novel method of using enhanced sunlight for the early maturation of plants, hydroponics, self healing concrete and Air filtration system. Her experience in research has led to 7 research articles, three patents (published), two copyrights and recently completed a DST funded project. Prachie is Director at Parimukh Innovations Pvt Ltd which is actively trying to implement the product at the government level. 

Through Parimukh innovations, she is working with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited for implementation of air filtration system across the state. As a part of her doctoral work has worked upon the elucidation of novel host extra-hepatic targets of Hepatitis B virus. This study involves constructing an extra-hepatic lymphotropic interactome. Prachie believes in working towards development of technologies which would have real world impact in the field of virology, agriculture as well as food sciences and are therefore marketable in the long run.
