Dr. Kumar Rajesh

Brief Profile

Presently a Professor in Manav Rachna University (Manav Rachna International Institute Research & Studies – MRIIRS), School of Media and Humanities (SMeH). Kumar Raajesh has been a credible media personality and an academician for close to three decades. Having finished his M.Phil. (a JRF Scholar) form Centre for Political Studies (CPS) in JNU, he joined the audio-visual media (which was in still in its nascent stage in India) in 1992, while continuing his Ph.D. from CPS.

 Active involvement in TV Journalism made him discontinue his Ph.D. then, which was finally awarded to him in 2021, this time from University of Delhi. He has also taught Political Science (2008, Manak Publications, New Dehli) in a leading college of Delhi University. Kumar Rajesh’s book “The Janata Enigma 30 Out Of 60” was launched at a well attended function at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi on 18th May, 2008.
