Dr. Irshad Ahmad

Brief Profile

Dr. Irshad Ahmad has more than 10 years of experience in clinical, teaching and research. He has completed his Ph.D in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. He works as an Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, School of Allied Health Sciences. He received IRSD pre-eminent researcher award in 2022 at the 8th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development, Chandigarh and Eminent Young Scientist award in 2023 at Spine Ortho Neuro Physio Conclave at Paras Hospital, Gurugram. He has published 37+ publications in reputed journals indexed in SCOPUS, PUBMED or WOS with an H-index of 8 and an i10 index of 7, which went through the peer-review process. He has expertise in posture, balance, gait, fall prevention, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He works in cardiac autonomic function, high-intensity training, neuromuscular function and core functions in an athletic and non-athletic population.
