Dr. Deep Moni Gogoi earned his PhD degree from Sikkim Central University, as a UGC Senior Research Fellow (SRF) The topic of his PhD is "Media and the People's Movements: A study on the 'Free' Press in Liberalized India-1991-2012." He has more than 5 years of teaching experience. His primary areas of interest lie in Media studies, Print Journalism, and Media History. He has presented his research papers in many national and international seminars and conferences. He has also published research papers in Web of Science and peer reviewed journals.
