Innovative Practices

The department offers value-added courses with the aim to facilitate students to pursue courses of their choice and to enable them to learn extra courses beyond curricula and acquire more knowledge.

The additional knowledge to learners through such value-added courses helps in improving their employability skills. It also provides an opportunity to students to develop inter-disciplinary skills. Value-added courses are non-credit courses and conducted by experts of the area so that additional values can be added in student's profile. University offers sufficient number of such courses so that students can have good number of choices from given VACs basket.

These are some of the value-added courses offered by our department which are not only confined for the students of our department but they are available for the students of other departments also which provide an opportunity to students to develop inter-disciplinary skills. Every year department offered some value-added courses. Around 10% students of our department and 90% students from other departments take these courses for the purpose of interdisciplinary learning beyond the curriculum.
