Dr. Ruhi Lal

Brief Profile

Dr. Ruhi Lal is presently working as Professor at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies. She is highly skilled Advertising professional, Academician, Researcher and Author. She is persuing D.Litt. from VBU Hazaribagh , Jharkhand State Univesity and holds Ph.D. in Mass Communication. She is recipient of Best Media Educator of the year 2021 in Advertising Research by Media Federation of India. Received 5th Gyan Shree National award for promoting talents in Hindi Literature from Savitri Foundations. She received “Vishist Sewa Samman” from BJP Delhi for delivering services to especially abled people in Dec 2021. She has 22 years of work experience blend of 8 years of Industry (H.T.Media Ltd. , Purple Focus Pvt. Ltd. ) & 16 years of Teaching and Research experience at Amity School of Communication, Amity University, Noida. She served as Head Student Support at Amity Schol of Communication, Noida. Dr. Lal has 148 Research contributions includes 13 Books, 4 Patents, 52 research papers published (7- Scopus, 2-Web of Science, 35- UGC CARE Listed Journals, 8 peer reviewed journals, 30 Case Studies developed, 34 Research Papers Presented in International and National conferences, 15 book chapters published and Six funded Research Projects done – Three projects from MHRD , 2 MGNCRE, 1 Radio Amity with DAVP & SMART NGO, 1 Amity MOOC Project, 1 Corporate project. Dr. Lal has been invited as Key Note Speaker and chaired many technical sessions at National and International conferences. She organized International and National conference as Convener (Journalism Next by MFI ) and Conference coordinator (ICEME, Amity University) .

 She organized FDPs & VACs conducted workshops on ‘Advertising Research methods’, ‘Qualitative research methods’, ‘Campaign planning’, ‘Storytelling’ in Advertising. She served as IQAC head, Stream head for ‘Advertising & Marketing Communication’ at Amity University. She is Member of DRB, DRC, Board of studies at MRIIRS . She served as member of AAB & PRC , RAC committee member, Academic advisory board member, Outcome Assessment head, Academic Planning and Review committee member, External Examiner, Paper Setter and Guest Speakers for many Universities. She chaired more than 50 admission boards for the selection of students at Amity University.
