Webinar on ‘Frugal Innovations and Social Entrepreneurship’ by Dr. Raman Gujaral

MHRD Innovation Cell organized a webinar by Dr. Raman Gujaral, Sr. Faculty, EDII, Ahmedabad on the topic Frugal Innovations and Social Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Saji Varghese, Director Blessing Palms Private Ltd, who is also a social entrepreneur, was invited to this session. Dr. Varghese narrated his journey of Frugal Innovation and demonstrated his patented invention on production of biodegradable drinking straw from naturally dried fallen coconut leaves.  This venture created many job opportunities for the women of rural India.
