Third Virtual Labs Workshop

Manav Rachna University organized 3rd Virtual Labs workshop on January 30, 2019 in association with IIT Delhi. Virtual labs are a venture of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, under its National Mission on Education through Information & Communication Technology (NMEICT).

The main purpose behind this project is to improve the standards of laboratory and practical training imparted to engineering students. The state-of the-art laboratory facility in all disciplines of engineering currently exists at IIT Delhi, IIIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay and a few others. Here students can access and perform experiments at the lab of their choice at their preferred time slots.

The workshop is conducted in coordination with the Nodal Coordinator, Dr. Mrinal Pandey and a team of faculty members and student coordinators of MRU. The Team from IIT, Delhi conducted a Virtual workshop in 6 sessions with hands on practices for virtual labs. The workshop was a great success in which 200 students of undergraduate and postgraduate level and 12 faculty members from various discipline were trained, MRU participated with full enthusiasm.
