Talk on World’s Standard Day
Dr. Charu Virmani, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, MRIIRS was invited as a speaker on World’s Standard day at JC Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad organized by the Institute of Engineers (India), Faridabad Local Chapter.
Her talk emphasized the “Video standards create a global Stage”, a modern medium of expression. The objective of the talk was to make the participants aware of the significance of standardization and its relevance to the economy.
She illustrated future scenarios that imagine one of the many ways that video could impact our lives in the near or distant future. She unfolded events where video analytics can identify behavior or action in real-time, providing insights to users.
