Students undertake ‘National Integration Pledge’ at anti-ragging seminar

Manav Rachna International University organized a seminar on ‘anti-ragging’ at its campus today. Mr. S N Arya, Former VC, CCHAS & KUK was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. N C Wadha, VC, MRIU; Dr. M K Soni, PVC, MRIU; Dr. V K Mahna, PVC, MRU, Mr. R K Arora, Registrar, MRIU and Prof. I K Kilam, Dean, Students Welfare, MRIU.
During the seminar, students were briefed about the various anti-ragging measures that make MRIU a pleasant and a conducive campus for freshers. Many senior students shared experiences of their initial days at the campus and how they continue to be mentored at every stage. Dr. N C Wadhwa said: “As a forward looking institute, we have a zero tolerance policy against any act of ragging. We have been organizing this anti-ragging seminar for many years now and are happy to report that in all these years, we have been successful in creating a peaceful and a safe campus for our students”.
 
Students were also administered the ‘National Integration Pledge’ to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Quit India movement.
While appreciating the anti-ragging measures at MRIU, Dr. S N Arya stressed on the need to imbibe an in-depth knowledge of any subject. Through life experiences, he reiterated how half-baked knowledge can be dangerous.
