Department of Hotel Management, MRIIRS celebrated International Chefs’ Day. Theme for this year is ‘Healthy food for the future’.
Students visited Crowne Plaza Okhla, an Intercontinental Hotel Group academy with a global hotel chain. Students met the celebrity Chef Sumit Sethi who is Sr. CDP in Crowne Plaza Okhla. Chef emphasized on sustainability and the environment to ensure a healthy planet for future generations. He informed the students about the impact that production and consumption of food has on the environment.
Chef Sumit demonstrated two healthy recipes. As after this pandemic situation, most of the people are health conscious these days. So, with the help of the ingredients which boosts the immunity gave demonstration of Fruit Muesli, and Apple Celery Cinnamon Smoothie.
On second day, Chef Kunal took a demonstration session for all the semester students on Different types of Salad. Three students Ujjawal, Anurag & Priyam of final year got a chance to showcase their talent and made amazing recipes (Lasagne, White sauce Pasta & Chicken Ramen).
