Student Enrichment Activities – Industry Expert Interaction
To impart knowledge of the capital market regulations and to enrich students about the financial sector, an Industry Expert Interaction was conducted by the Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, MRIIRS.
The designated speaker for the day was Mr. Pullock Bhattacharji, a dynamic persona with 37 years of experience in Financial Sector. He is a Master in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management. He has worked with several financial institutions such as Punjab National Bank, DCM, Finance, The Muthoot Group, GE Capital, AMP, Auckland, Investshoppe India Ltd, IndiaCan Education Pvt Ltd and currently he is associated with BSE Institute Ltd as Vice President.
The session was started with the
introduction of the Indian financial sector and the Bombay Stock Exchange. He
enriched students with the basic fundamental terminologies of stock markets,
its features and duration of transactions in the stock market.
It was a wonderful learning experience for all those who attended.
