Report of the Event Project display under Mobility theme for ‘Srijan 2017”

The Department of Automobile Engineering  organized a Project display ‘Srijan 2017’ under the Mobility theme on 28^thMarch, 2017. Total 17 teams across different departments of FET i.e., Automobile, Aeronautical, Mechanical, EEE & ECE had participated in the event. The different projects displayed included Electric vehicle, Slido seat, Steer by Wire, Human Powered Hybrid Vehicle, Solar Powered Car Refrigerator, Hybrid Trike, A Solar Electric Vehicle, Solar Powered Cart, Motorized bicycle, Transpybot- Self Transforming Robot, Smart Parking Solution, Underwater Semi-autonomous, Design and fabrication of cross bike, Foldable electric cycle, Design and development of staircase transporter, Self drag adjusting spoiler and Bluetooth control Smart Car integrated with Hydraulic Bridge.

The occasion was graced by Dr. N.C.Wadhwa (Vice Chancellor MRIU), Dr.M.K.Soni (ED & Dean-FET), Dr. Naresh Grover (Dean Academics-MRIU), Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Professor, Mechanical Engg. Department among others. All the dignitaries had appreciated the efforts made by the students in the development of these innovative projects. The Projects were judged by Industry Experts Mr. Manu Bindra (Inshu Auto) and Mr. Sandeep Kaushik  (JBM Group).

Three projects including Underwater Semi Autonomous, Slido seat, Design and development of staircase transporter displayed at the event were selected for the final round, which will take place on 3^rd April 2017.

The event was also visited by the students of 2^nd 4^th & 6^th semester who appreciated the work done by their seniors.
